The obverse shows the portrait of the Georgian poet and public figure Akaki Tsereteli with the inscription «Akaki Tsereteli 1840–1915», a flowering branch and a swallow. The reverse shows the portrait of a mother from the Georgian artist David Kakabadze's painting «Imereti Mother of Mine», and grape vine bas-reliefs.
A banknote of the National Bank of Georgia, the series issued before 2015 — the one that circulated before the current series. The most interesting security features are a watermark — against the light the white field of the note shows the pale multi-toned lari index «GEL» and the denomination numeral and a gryphon; intaglio printing — the denomination numeral, the letterings and the Borjgali symbol on the front carry a thick layer of ink, are raised and can be felt by touch; and a special mark for the visually impaired — each denomination has its own raised elements, by which the value can be told by touch.
The Georgian lari is collected by series, by the year on the note and by the signature of the President of the National Bank. UNC condition means the note has never circulated: no folds, no wear, no soiling, even corners — just as it left the press.
